I've got too many friends, neighbors and acquaintances employed at Lehman, Merrill, and even Bank of America. At dinner last night, hosted by a hedge fund CFO, I got an alert on the Merrill acquisition announcement, and was sitting right next to a Merrill employee and broke the news to him.
Things are surreal here in Manhattan, and I'm grinding risk. Maybe I'll blog a little later.
