U.S. needs 600 million acres to grow enough corn ethanol
to replace gasoline.
Ummm, ... that's more than all the farmland in the U.S., not to mention all the people and animals that will go hungry because they can't afford corn anymore, and there's no more wheat, soybeans, oats, potatoes, or any of those other crops. Reminds me of the film Idiocracy, when the sports drink lobby convinced the government to irrigate all the nation's crops with sports drink, and no one understood why starvation ensued.
