Is intellectual arrogance an asset or liability with irrational voters?

And who is the intellectually most humble? I'm not sure it's any of these folks, not even Ron Paul. Fred Thompson, perhaps?

It reminds me of Plato on power, those desiring it the least deserving it the most.
